Our Focus
At some point in their life, most people will find themselves experiencing situations, thoughts or feelings that are causing difficulties for them.
The team at Riverwood Counselling and Wellbeing Practice believe that when you share what's going on for you in a consistently supportive and non-judgemental environment you will be able to start making the changes you want to make or simply better understand how you really feel about things.
Having someone truly listen to you and hear what you want to express, whatever it is, can be a very valuable experience and hard to find in daily life. We believe in the uniqueness of each person, appreciate diversity and value each client highly.
Counselling is not about us telling you what to do, giving advice or making suggestions. We walk alongside you, helping you explore your life, yourself and your relationships, working with you to move towards a place where you would rather be.
We adhere to the ethical framework set out by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy - this means we hold ourselves accountable to professional standards at all times and put you as the client at the very heart of our work.
